MTG Hobbit prerelease starts today, August 7, at local game stores across North Carolina. If you haven’t registered yet, call your local store right now — some will still have seats available for today’s events or later sessions this week.
What’s Happening at Prerelease
Prereleases run August 7–13 at registered local game stores. You receive a Prerelease Pack to build a sealed deck, play against other attendees, and keep every card you open. It’s the earliest way to get physical Hobbit cards in hand before the August 14 street date.
Participants in Commander Party events receive a promo Bilbo, Luckwearer card while supplies last.
