Magic: The Gathering
Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes — June 26, 2026 release of the summer brings the full Marvel Universe into the card game, featuring iconic heroes and villains from the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and beyond. It’s legal in all formats, including Standard, and ships with four Commander decks ready to play out of the box. Prerelease events ran June 19–21 at local game stores—if you registered, you may already have your hands on cards. The set hits shelves officially this Thursday, June 26.

Pokémon TCG
No new main expansion drops this week — the next big release is on the horizon.
Mega Evolution: Pitch Black — July 17, 2026
Pitch Black is the fifth expansion in the Mega Evolution Pokémon TCG era, shifting toward darker themes tied directly into Pokémon Legends Z-A: Mega Dimension. Mega Darkrai ex leads the set as the main chase card, alongside Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex, and Mega Excadrill ex across 115+ cards. Prerelease Build & Battle events are scheduled for July 4–12 at participating local game stores ahead of the July 17 launch.
Disney Lorcana
No main set releases this week, but the next one is coming fast.
Attack of the Vine! — Prerelease July 17, Main Release July 24, 2026
Attack of the Vine! is Set 13 in Disney Lorcana, featuring Sully, Mike Wazowski, and Boo from Pixar’s Monsters Inc. as they team up to fight back a monstrous, unstoppable vine spreading across the realm. The set follows the Monsters Inc. storyline as part of the summer blockbuster-themed narrative arc running through 2026. Prereleases begin July 17 at FLGS locations — check your local store for registration.

Not every store carries every product, and stock on launch day can move fast. Here’s how to track down what you need:

Call ahead on release day — popular sets and collector products sell through quickly.
Prerelease events are your best shot at playing new cards early. Most FLGS hosts them the weekend before official launch; check your local store’s events calendar or social pages.
Stores in larger markets (Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, and Durham) tend to receive larger initial allocations, but smaller shops often have better personal service and are more likely to set aside product if you ask.
